Where your church's offering goes
Project M:25 stands alongside eight safe homes in six countries. Together with the directors, caregivers, and local pastors in each home, we build the daily rhythms of a healing home, where children heal, rebuild trust, and discover a future rooted in Christ.
A child who gets out of trafficking with no safe place to go is most often trafficked again, usually within two years. Healing takes time, and it takes people who stay. One Sunday and one offering let your whole church take part in that work.
How it works
- Count your church in. Your name, your church, and your email. It takes one minute.
- Open the kit right away. As soon as you sign up, the kit page opens with every file ready to download, print, or put on the screen.
- Choose your Sunday. We'll email you a link back to the kit and ask which Sunday you've chosen. Any Sunday works.
Say yes to a Sunday.
Tell us about your church and we'll send your kit.
Protect as well as give
A Give Hope Sunday is a good day to help your people notice. The kit includes a guide for pastors on talking about trafficking and sharing children's stories in a way that protects them, and the children's lesson and youth session each include a short "Watch for" box for leaders.
If a child or teen tells a leader something that worries them, follow your church's own child-safety policy and make the report it names.
National Human Trafficking Hotline: call 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911.
Questions pastors ask
Is the kit really free?
Yes. Every file is free, ready to print or put on the screen.
Do we have to raise a set amount?
No. There's no goal to reach and no amount your church has to raise. One Sunday, one offering, given the way that fits your people.
Which Sunday should we choose?
Any Sunday that works for your church.
How does our church send the offering?
Through Church of God World Missions, project 102-9249 (Project M:25), marked "Give Hope Sunday," or directly to Project M:25 by check to PO Box 2106, Anniston, AL 36202. The kit's slides and insert carry a giving QR code for people who give online.
Will the lessons frighten young children?
The children's lesson has its own version for ages 3 to 6, and both the lesson and the youth session include a "Watch for" box for leaders.
Is there a Spanish version?
The files are in English for now. A Spanish version is in review.
