The Problem

Children around the world are growing up without safety, care, or support.

Hunger, unsafe water, neglect, and abuse can leave deep and lasting wounds. And too often, the adults who care for these children lack the tools and support to help them heal. But what a child has experienced does not have to define their future.

The Solution

Three Ways We Work

We meet urgent needs, help children heal and grow strong, and train others to do the same. When you give, pray, or serve, you are part of all three.

1 Provide Relief

Meet urgent needs with dignity: clean water, nutrition, and care

2 Build Resilience

Mentoring, education, and emotional and spiritual support. This is where healing happens.

3 Multiply Impact

What we learn in the field becomes training and tools for local leaders and churches.

This year, each has one project ready for you.

“A child’s healing isn’t one breakthrough moment. It’s a hundred small ones, and being there for every single one.”

A · PROVIDE RELIEF

Safe water for 1,666 homes

Water opens the door to trusted relationships and the hope of Jesus. $150 installs a clean water filter in a family’s home, with hygiene education and a year of follow-up visits.

About 95% of families report better health after their filter goes in.

In Ecuador the work is led by Jacobo Jimenez, our Give Water Program Coordinator and an ordained pastor.

B · BUILD RESILIENCE

Rescue is only the beginning.

Then comes the slow, daily work of healing. Give Hope is one complete system for helping children heal in a safe home, written so the caregivers who are already there can be certified to run it without a psychologist on staff. Our partners run the homes. We fund part of the cost, equip the caregivers, and stay monthly.

The list of homes who want our program is huge. The ones who get acted on are tied to funding.

C · MULTIPLY IMPACT

Train the leaders who stay

Pastors, caregivers, and ministry leaders across Latin America ask to learn our model firsthand. The International Training and Research Center, on our campus outside Quito, gives them a place to live, learn, and practice. It is a field site of the Lee University Trauma and Resilience Research Center, so what works is measured and shared.
