Mission Trips

Go to Ecuador. Serve alongside the people already changing children’s lives.

A Project M:25 mission trip isn’t a week of watching from the outside. It’s a week of working shoulder-to-shoulder with the local pastors, leaders, and families doing this work every day — and coming home changed.

Project M:25 helps children in impoverished communities around the world heal from trauma, build resilience, and thrive.

The invitation

You don’t just watch the work. You step into it.

Project M:25 takes a holistic approach — caring for the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of vulnerable families in Ecuador. But we’ve never done it alone.

Local churches and pastors are already walking with these families every day: installing clean-water filters, running Kids’ Club, praying over kitchen tables. On a mission trip, you join them — for a week that stays with you long after you fly home.

One team’s week

The week Fort Mill unlocked doors

When the team from Fort Mill Church of God came to Ecuador, they didn’t just “go on a trip.”

They showed up for the Give Water Partners’ Conference — helping serve pastors from 25 communities across the country — and then headed into the field: home visits, water-filter installs, and long afternoons praying with families.

Because they came, pastors went home recharged and better equipped. Families felt seen, prayed for, and supported. And the next twenty communities suddenly felt within reach.

“You hold the key.”The theme the whole week was built around

Here’s the part most teams don’t expect. The deepest work isn’t what happens in one week — it’s what happens when a team comes back. Return year after year, and the children start to recognize faces. A visitor becomes a familiar friend. A friend becomes a mentor. That’s the quiet power of showing up more than once — and it’s the same rhythm that lets M:25’s work take root and last.

What you’ll do

A week of real work and real relationships

No two trips look exactly alike — but most weeks hold some of these.

Encourage leaders

Serve the people who serve all year

Come alongside pastors and field leaders at gatherings like the Give Water Partners’ Conference — encouraging, praying, and helping care for the ones who carry this work when you’re back home.

Love kids well

Be a steady, joyful presence

Help lead Kids’ Club games, join our teen program Give Light, and simply be a safe, delighted-in-them adult in a child’s week. Children remember who showed up.

Bring clean water

Install filters that open doors

Help install in-home water filters with Give Water — and see how a filter becomes the doorway to a family’s whole story of health, trust, and hope.

Sit with families

Join home visits

Pray at kitchen tables. Listen to a mother’s story. Play with the kids underfoot. Some of the most important work of the week happens sitting still.

Come with us

Bring your church, your youth group, or just yourself

Whether you’re a seasoned team or a first-timer, we’ll help you plan a trip that fits — from the Partners’ Conference, to campus life at Agua Viva, to Give Water field sites. Costs are transparent, and monthly payment plans are available.

Have questions? Paula Bristow, our visiting-team contact, would love to talk it through before you commit to anything.

Come and see.

The children, the families, the pastors — they’re already at work. There’s room for you in the story.
